NMFS Proposes 2005 and 2006 Fisheries Specifications for Summer Flounder, Scup, and Black Sea Bass

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is proposing specifications for the 2005 and 2006 summer flounder fisheries, as well as the 2005 scup and black sea bass fisheries, in an effort to establish harvest levels and reduce bycatch. The proposed rule also aims to improve the efficiency of the commercial scup fishery and attain target fishing mortality rates.
