Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for Revised Spent Fuel Storage Cask Regulations

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of March 2, 2004, for a direct final rule that revised the regulations for the Transnuclear, Inc. Standardized NUHOMS Horizontal Modular Storage System, adding Amendment No. 7 to the list of approved spent fuel storage casks.
