NRC Proposes Revised Guidance on Operability Determinations and Resolution of Nonconforming Conditions

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing a Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) to update staff guidance on operability determinations and resolution of nonconforming conditions in nuclear power plants. The proposed RIS aims to reflect changes in the NRC regulatory process and clarify guidance for selected issues based on operating experience.
