Federal Acquisition Regulation; Increased Justification and Approval Threshold for DoD, NASA, and Coast Guard

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on an interim rule to increase the justification and approval thresholds for the Department of Defense, NASA, and the U.S. Coast Guard, following changes made by the Ronald W. Reagan National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2005, which raised the threshold from $50,000,000 to $75,000,000, and updated the reference to a higher grade level.
