Federal Acquisition Regulation; Gains and Losses: Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and Defense Acquisition Regulations Council Reach Agreement

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation to clarify the recognition of gains and losses on the disposition or impairment of depreciable property, as well as rental costs, and to address sale and leaseback transactions.
