The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has allocated channels 293C3 in Crowell, Texas, and 242A in Florien, Louisiana, as the first local aural transmission services for these communities, following requests from Charles Crawford. The allotments comply with the FCC's minimum distance separation requirements.
