The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved a change in the digital television channel allocation for Corpus Christi, Texas, at the request of Channel 3 of Corpus Christi, Inc., to channel 8, which complies with community coverage requirements and has obtained concurrence from the Mexican government due to the city's proximity to the US-Mexico border.
