FDA Releases Guidance on Antimicrobial Resistance in Food-Producing Animals

The FDA has made available a guidance document (VICH GL27) outlining the requirements for assessing antimicrobial resistance in food-producing animals, a key step in harmonizing technical guidelines across the EU, Japan, and the US for the approval of antimicrobial veterinary medicinal products.
