FDA Releases Revised Guidance for Industry on Botanical Drug Products

The Food and Drug Administration has released a revised guidance for industry on botanical drug products, updating the original draft issued in 2000 in response to industry comments, to explain when botanical drug products require FDA approval and when they can be marketed over-the-counter.
