Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act: Electronic Filing, Settlement, and Civil Money Penalty Procedures

The Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) is updating its regulations to require electronic filing of documents and streamline the settlement process for the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act. The changes also introduce new rules for imposing and reviewing civil money penalties, allowing for contesting of OWCP's penalty determinations.
