Coast Guard Extends Great Lakes Dry Cargo Residue Discharge Policy

The U.S. Coast Guard has been granted an extension by new legislation until November 7, 2004, to begin assessing the environmental impact of dry cargo residue discharges on the Great Lakes, following the expiration of a 1997 interim policy.
