Coast Guard Proposes Expansion of Los Angeles and Long Beach Anchorage Area

The U.S. Coast Guard is proposing to increase the size of the anchorage area outside the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach in San Pedro Bay, California, to accommodate larger vessels, in order to support the growing maritime traffic in the region.
