DEA Suspends Exemptions for Anabolic Steroid Products

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has temporarily halted the exemptions granted to two pharmaceutical preparations for anabolic steroid use, following comments that raised concerns about the exemptions under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). This move is part of the ongoing implementation of the Anabolic Steroid Control Act (ASCA) of 1990.
