US Adopts Final Rule to Expand Quarantine for Imported Fire Ants

The US has finalized a rule to expand quarantine areas for imported fire ants to six counties in South Carolina and nine counties in Tennessee, restricting the interstate movement of regulated articles from these areas to prevent the artificial spread of the pest to non-infested US regions.
