Trade Adjustment Assistance for Farmers Proposed Rule

The proposed Trade Adjustment Assistance for Farmers rule would establish a new program to provide technical assistance and cash benefits to eligible farmers affected by increased imports, as mandated by the Trade Act of 1974 and Trade Act of 2002. The Department of Agriculture would determine eligibility and provide support to producers of raw agricultural commodities experiencing price declines over five years.
