USDA Declines Environmental Impact Statement for Lower Kissimmee River Watershed

The Natural Resources Conservation Service, a division of the US Department of Agriculture, has announced that it will not prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Lower Kissimmee River Watershed in Okeechobee and Highlands counties, Florida, citing exemptions under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.
