FEMA Amends Louisiana Disaster Declaration for Hurricane Rita

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has amended its Presidential declaration of a major disaster for the State of Louisiana in response to Hurricane Rita, which began on September 23, 2005, and continues to this day, with a new effective date of October 14, 2005, and loan application deadlines of November 23, 2005 for physical loans and June 26, 2006 for Economic Injury Disaster Loans.
