FEMA Amends Louisiana Disaster Declaration for Hurricane Rita

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has amended its Presidential declaration of a major disaster for the State of Louisiana in response to Hurricane Rita, which began on September 23, 2005, and continues to this day. The amended declaration, effective October 18, 2005, sets new deadlines for physical and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) loan applications.
