FTC Repeals Premerger Notification Rule for Limited Liability Companies

The Federal Trade Commission is issuing a new Formal Interpretation of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act to repeal a previous rule governing the reportability of certain transactions involving the formation of Limited Liability Companies (LLCs). All LLC transactions will be subject to the new rules starting on the effective date of the notice.
