Navy Amends Certifications and Exemptions Under International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972

The US Navy is updating its rules to inform mariners of a specific naval ship, the USS Ronald Reagan, that cannot fully comply with certain collision prevention regulations due to its unique construction and purpose, in order to prevent interference with its naval function.
