Proposed Amendment to Class E Airspace; Philadelphia, PA

This notice proposes to amend the Class E airspace area at Philadelphia, PA. The development of Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAP) based on area navigation (RNAV) to serve flights into Spitfire Aerodrome (7N7) under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) has made this proposal necessary. Controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) is needed to contain aircraft executing the approach. The area would be depicted on aeronautical charts for pilot reference.
