California Air Resources Board Approves Amendments to Heavy-Diesel Engine Regulations

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has approved amendments to its regulations for heavy-duty diesel engines and vehicles, requiring them to meet a new NOx standard starting in 1998 and establishing optional standards for earlier model years.
