Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Rules for Electronic Communication and Document Submission

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is updating its rules to clarify when and how licensees and the public can use electronic means to communicate with the agency, in accordance with the Government Paperwork Elimination Act (GPEA). The NRC is also providing new guidance on electronic document submission, which will replace existing guidance once the final rule takes effect.
