U.S. International Trade Commission to Investigate MediaTek Corporation's Patent Infringement Allegations

The U.S. International Trade Commission has been asked to investigate MediaTek Corporation, a Taiwanese company, for allegedly infringing on two U.S. patents related to optical disk controller chips and chipsets, which are used in DVD players and PC optical storage devices.
