FDA Updates Regulation for Over-the-Counter Ophthalmic Drug Products

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending its regulation to update the conditions under which over-the-counter ophthalmic drug products are considered safe and effective, following a name change for one active ingredient included in the monograph, as part of its ongoing review of OTC drug products.
