FDA Releases Draft Guidance on Antimicrobial Resistance in Food-Producing Animals

The FDA has made available a draft guidance document (VICH GL27) outlining the types of studies and data needed to assess the potential for antimicrobial resistance in food-producing animals, a step towards harmonized technical guidance in the EU, Japan, and the US.
