FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Swine Treatment

The FDA is amending its regulations to reflect the approval of an abbreviated new animal drug application for lincomycin injectable solution in swine, treating infectious arthritis and mycoplasma pneumonia, following a filing by Veterinary Laboratories, Inc. The approval was published in the Federal Register on May 14, 2002.
