U.S. Government to Roll Out Biometric Visa Program for Nonimmigrant and Immigrant Visa Applicants

The U.S. government will begin collecting biometric identifiers from nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applicants starting in 2024, as part of a new program aimed at enhancing national security and immigration enforcement.
