USDA Adopts New Assessment Rate for California Nectarine Committee

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for the Nectarine Administrative Committee, which regulates nectarine production in California, from $0.20 to $0.19 per 25-pound container, effective for the 2002-03 fiscal period and beyond.
