VA Amends Regulation on Recoupment of Severance Pay from Disability Compensation

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has updated its regulations to align with the statutory provision that requires the recoupment of military severance pay from service-connected disability compensation, effective September 15, 1981, and excludes Federal income tax withheld from payments made after September 30, 1996.
