DOT Extends Compliance Dates for Hazardous Materials Cylinder Requirements

The Department of Transportation (DOT) is extending the compliance dates for its final rule on the maintenance, requalification, repair, and use of DOT specification cylinders, originally set for October 1, 2002, to May 30, 2003, in response to appeals regarding the initial effective date.
