MSHA Proposes New Regulations for Mine Maps and Closure Procedures

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) has submitted a proposed information collection request for public comment, focusing on the preparation and maintenance of accurate mine maps and the notification of MSHA prior to opening new mines or reopening inactive or abandoned mines.
