Coast Guard Proposes Security Zones for Trans-Alaska Pipeline and Port Valdez

The US Coast Guard is proposing the establishment of security zones around the Trans-Alaska Pipeline's Valdez Terminal Complex and tank vessels, as well as in the Valdez Narrows and Port Valdez, to protect against sabotage or other subversive acts that could harm the Alyeska Marine Terminal and vessels.
