EPA Comments on Environmental Impact Statements and Regulations

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has expressed concerns over transportation system planning, fire risk, and ecological justification for harvesting large trees, but has no objections to three proposed projects: the Red Star Restoration Project in California, the Coachella Valley California Desert Conservation Area Plan Amendment, and the amendment to the Coconino Forest Plan in Arizona.
