IRS to Partner with Free File Alliance to Offer Free Tax Preparation Services

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has agreed to enter into an agreement with Free File Alliance, LLC, a non-profit corporation, to provide free online tax preparation and filing services to at least 60% of taxpayers, following a response to public comments and concerns.
