USDA Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Tahoe National Forest Vegetation Management Project

The USDA Forest Service plans to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for a project to apply herbicides to 13,500 acres of National Forest System land in Sierra County, CA, to reduce competition from overgrown vegetation and promote the growth of conifer seedlings.
