Temporary Drawbridge Closure for Maintenance Work

The US Coast Guard has granted a temporary exemption to close the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway Drawbridge across the Illinois Waterway for maintenance, allowing it to remain closed to navigation for three 28-hour periods starting November 4, 2002.
