EPA Approves Texas Ozone Plan Revisions, Suspends Speed Limit and Enhances Emission Reduction Commitment

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is approving revisions to the Texas Ozone Attainment Demonstration State Implementation Plan, which includes suspending the 55 miles per hour speed limit until May 1, 2005, and clarifying the state's commitment to reducing emissions in the Houston/Galveston nonattainment area.
