EPA Ratifies Test Procedures for Measuring Effluent Toxicity, Withdraws Two Methods

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized a rule establishing and revising test procedures for measuring the toxicity of pollutants in effluents and receiving waters, while withdrawing two methods from national approval, in an effort to resolve litigation and improve the reliability of results.
