Solicitation for Proposals: Nuclear Explosion Monitoring Research and Engineering

The Department of Energy (DOE) and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) are seeking proposals to improve nuclear explosion monitoring through seismic methods, with the goal of advancing the state-of-the-art in this field. The solicitation is expected to be released on November 30, 2002, through the NNSA Oakland Operations Office, in partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).
