U.S. Locational Requirement for Dispatching of U.S. Rail Operations
The U.S. Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has issued a new rule replacing an interim rule that allowed for limited extraterritorial dispatching of U.S. rail operations. The new rule eliminates these exceptions, instead proposing a special waiver process for cases where dispatching occurs outside the U.S. and is deemed necessary.
