Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Skin Dose Limit Regulations

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is updating its rules to more accurately reflect the health risks associated with skin exposure to radiation, allowing for a less restrictive skin dose limit when small areas of skin are irradiated.
