Consumer Product Safety Commission Requests Extension of Approval for Safety Standard for Cigarette Lighters

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has submitted a request to the Office of Management and Budget for a three-year extension of approval for its Safety Standard for Cigarette Lighters, which aims to prevent children under five from operating disposable and novelty lighters.
