FDA Corrects Final Rule on Ozone Use in Food Additives

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a final rule published on June 26, 2001, which allowed the use of ozone as an antimicrobial agent in food, including meat and poultry, but inadvertently omitted a reference to relevant regulations.
