FDA Approves Ivermectin Tablets for Dogs to Prevent Heartworm Disease

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its animal drug regulations to reflect the approval of an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA) submitted by Blue Ridge Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for the oral use of ivermectin tablets to prevent heartworm disease in canines.
