FDA Releases Draft Guidance for Labeling of Alpha Hydroxy Acid Cosmetics

The FDA has released a draft guidance to educate manufacturers on labeling requirements for topical cosmetic products containing alpha hydroxy acids, following a citizen petition from the Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association, which sought sun alert labeling for these products.
