Coast Guard Changes Rail Bridge Operation Regulations in New Jersey

The Coast Guard has finalized a rule change allowing the Consolidated Rail Corporation's Railroad Bridge across Raccoon Creek in New Jersey to be operated by a train crewmember, eliminating the need for a bridge tender, in order to meet the reasonable needs of navigation.
