Coast Guard Proposes Changes to Bridge Operation Regulations in New Orleans

The US Coast Guard proposes to modify the operating regulations for three bridges across the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal in New Orleans, Louisiana, to alleviate morning and afternoon congestion caused by increased rush hour vehicular traffic. The proposed changes would extend the morning and afternoon vehicular traffic windows by 15 minutes and advance the afternoon closure by 1 hour and 15 minutes.
