Security Zones; San Francisco Bay, California

The Coast Guard proposes to establish moving and fixed security zones extending 100 yards around and under all High Interest Vessels (HIVs) located in the San Francisco Bay and Delta ports, California. These security zones are necessary security measures and are intended to protect the public and ports from potential subversive acts. Entry into these security zones would be prohibited, unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port San Francisco Bay, or his designated representative.
