The U.S. Department of State has made available a draft National Plan of Action to Prevent, Deter, and Eliminate Illegal, Unregulated, and Unreported Fishing, developed in response to a 2001 United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Committee on Fisheries (COFI) Ministerial Meeting, and invites public comments on the proposal.
